Bruce, Bruce, Bruce.
Bruce is deleting critical comments on this badly written blog post, including mine, one where I reminded him that trades are dead in today’s NHL. Trade season will be near the deadline and it will be short.
The Ottawa Senators, having a 1 in 4 chance of making the playoffs, will either stand pat if they are on the bubble or sell. It looks like they will be sellers. Meanwhile, Bruce huffs and puffs that the Senators need a trade and need to make one NOW. DAMN THE TORPEDOES!!
Uh, with whom, Bruce?
The comment wasn’t exactly Wikileaks, so why the delete, Bruce? Was it my reminder that Malkin will never be a King?
UPDATE: Now, for the moment, undeleted.

Actually dude, I read that post before it was deleted. It did seem a little rude to me. The “Malkin to the Kings” bit of misinformation was likely the result of just a bad source and, more importantly, it was eons ago. Time to get over it really. And the way you commented on his writing wasn’t really framed as constructive criticism. It was just a little rudely put. I’m sure if you rephrased your comment, keeping just the good point that a trade would be a bad idea, and leaving out irrelevant jabs, it would have remained.

Point taken, but be reminded that addled misinformation is what counts for research in Bruce’s mind, and trade rumors continue to be his stock in trade.
He’s been a sports columnist for over 20 years. Is that the best he can do?
